Güd by Burt's Bees Review! Red Ruby Groovy Shampoo & Conditioner

So lately I've been really into natural beauty products. For example, when my shampoo ran out, I took the chance and bought a more natural kind. I know y'all probably think this is hippie stuff, but when you can't read what's on your shampoo bottle, I don't think you should make it come in contact with your skin!  

 

Here's a pic. I found these on google so bear with me. I have only tried the shampoo and conditioner in this line. Sometime soon I might like to try the lotion and the body wash, but as in my last post, I have to use up alllllllll that BBW stuff I bought at the SAS. 

The shampoo is as advertised

 "Like washing your hair in a sunny rain! Squeeze out a squiggle, lather up and let the scent of grapefruit and wild thyme bring a big happy grin to your hair and your inherent wow-ness.

• Shinier hair means a shinier you.
• Smells like grapefruit and thyme are an item.
• No parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals.
• Never ever tested on animals. No way!" 

I can definitely smell the grapefruit. It overwhelms the shower and I love it!! If you don't like the smell of grapefruit, then this isn't for you! But personally I love it. I also smell a hint of something much like peppermint (maybe its the thyme) and it balances the grapefruit really well. This foams up nice, which was one of my concerns because natural stuff doesn't always foam, but it's nice and I enjoy using this product. It gets my hair really clean, which is def necessary. 

This is the conditioner, and is advertised as

"If your hair wore socks, they'd be rocked off! Hair loves its naturally moisturizing botanicals. You’ll love its zingy scent of grapefruit and wild thyme. It’s love at first conditioning.

• For hair so soft you’ll want to cuddle it.
• Uplifting, energizing scent.
• No parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals.
• Never ever tested on animals. No way!"

Again, smells like grapefruit, but isn't as strong as the shampoo. I smell more of a pepperminty thyme scent. This leaves my hair so incredibly soft it's unbelievable!!! I never expected something to work so well, and be natural! 

Overall, I would totes buy this product again!! I find myself reaching for this all the time and loving every minute of it! This makes me wake up in the morning because of the grapefruit smell, but also calms me before bed with the peppermint. If your looking into natural products, I recommend this one 100% because its just like non natural stuff, but it's not ya know? Oh by the way, I did this whole thing on my iPhone so I don't know how it'll turn out on the computer, I hope it's ok! Alright y'all, until next post!

Bath and Body Works & Victoria's Secret Body Care Collection!!

This is my BBW & VS collection! I looooooooveee both of these stores, and they recently had their SAS (Semi Annual Sales) So I went crazy and stocked up.  At regular price, these body products can cost you a pretty penny, but during the SAS, most cost only $2.50 a piece! That is such a good deal!!!!  SO anyway, here is an overview of my collection.

 

Ok so I know compared to some people this isn't a whole lot, but for me it is.  I am currently using some products too that I purchased at the same time.  I'm using a Wild Peach Poppies Shower gel, (BBW), a Coconut Cove foaming hand soap (BBW), an Aruba Coconut Body Lotion which is on it's very last use (BBW), and a Fresh Sorbets Whipped Body Souffle (VS) not sure of the scent, but it's purple and feels like whipped cream! Totes cool! Also I'm in the middle of a Midnight Dare Body Spray (VS) I LOVE THIS STUFF

 

 

Okay so here is all my VS stuff.  I'm obsessed with this one scent, Midnight Dare.  It smells like vanilla, raspberry and sandalwood.  I always get compliments when I wear the body spray (Dang guuuuurl you smell fresh!) Not exactly like that but.... anyway I heard they were discontinuing the scent, so I stocked up.  I should've bought more, but I figured I might get sick of the same old smell after a while and then I'd end up with a bunch of product that I didn't like the smell of, and that wouldn't be good.  So in the picture above is two Midnight Dare body lotions, two Midnight Dare shower gels, and one Midnight Dare body spray (The other I am currently using).  I love all these products, and would recommend them to anyone, if you can find them.  You might be able to order online, but it's expensive. 

 

 

So here is my BBW collection.  I have 3 lotions, 4 shower gels, and 3 hand soaps.  I'm going to start with Body Lotions.  Secret Wonderland smells really musky and dark, but I love those kind of nighttime scents.  The Wild Berry Tulips... It's like a yummy fruity smell, but it also has just a hint of floral in it.  And Aruba Coconut, obviously, smells like coconuts.  Yum!

 Moving on to shower gels, I have a Capri Seaside Citrus, which smells like citrus fruits (orange, lemon, lime ect.).  I own two wild berry tulips because I just cant get enough of this stuff! I really love that smell, and it smells just like the lotion.  (I'm using the word "smell" a lot, just bear with me here,) and lastly there's an Exotic Coconut which obviously smells again like coconut.

 I also have some hand soaps.  First is Paris Amour which is my fave! My whole bathroom is done with a Paris theme, so having this sit out on my sink looks adorable.  I don't know how to describe the scent, maybe it's like vanilla? This is a deep cleansing soap I think is what they're called.  I prefer the foaming one, but whatever.  Next I have an Italian Lavender hand soap which smells like lavender (Le Duh).  Lastly there's a vanilla berry sorbet, which smells like raspberry icecream. 

 

So this is actually going to be a gift (it's in a little bathtub, HOW CUTE?!) but since it's in my collection, I figured I would blog about it briefly.  This is from a collection (Italian?) and contains 3 shower gels and a fluffy pouf thingy.  Venice Dolce Berry is a dark berry musky smell, Capri seaside Citrus is described above, and Rome Honeysuckle Amour is a warm honeysuckle smell.  I would love getting this as a gift, wouldn't you?

 

 

So this pretty much wraps up my post.  I love both these stores, but only buy their body care when the SAS time of year rolls around because the prices can be so high at these stores.  I hope you guys found this even a slight bit interesting.  Please tell your friends about my blog. Welcome to My Blog!

I'm just warning ya'll that this is my first blog ever, but I think its going to turn out to be pretty fun.  So if ya'll can't already tell, my name is Grace and this is my blog!  I'm pretty much a redneck beauty queen that lives in the middle of scenic nowhere.  This blog is more of an experiment than anything, but I think its going to turn out to be pretty cool.  Ok so enough of my rambling, I should tell you what this is going to be about!

This blog is going to be about my life and the beauty products I use and love!  That's not a good way of saying it though, oh well, ya'll get my jist.  Anyways, I hope ya'll will like this blog. Remember that this is an experiment for me, and we'll see how it goes.  I'll post tomorrow in the AM as my first official post, and it'll be pretty awesome.  Thanks for clicking on  my blog, and check back soon!
